About Us

The Alchemy Retreat is run by the founders of The Nest Theatre (Tara DeFrancisco & Rance Rizzutto) in Clintonville – a favorite neighborhood of Cbus, OH. Tara & Rance are primarily known as live comedic stage performers, but have had recent notoriety online as creators and entertainers (@taradefrancisco and @rrizzutto)

They started hosting retreats with a successful endeavor called The Improv Retreat (TIR) - colloquially known as “a place for Adults to play like Kids!” (tm); TIR is centered around improvisation as performance, with a medium-sized helping of self-betterment.

The Alchemy Retreat was created to change that ratio and focus more on self, wellness, and care - while using a dash of improvisation & artistic principles. We’d love for you to come relax and grow with us!
